Animal Abuse There are too many animals getting abused and I know that it is not right to abuse animals. Animals should not be abused for any reason. If you are bothering an animal and it bites you that does not give you permission to hurt the animal. Also to have a pet and not give it food or fresh water is wrong. Animals need food, fresh water, and shelter just like humans. I know that there are people who make dogs fight for human entertainment. When dogs fight they can get serious injuries and can also get killed. Making dogs fight is like making people fight when they don’t want to but it is worse because dogs get more injuries. When dogs fight too much they are kept in cages which does not allow them to get exercise so they are unhealthy. Do you think it is right to hurt people and kill them? If not then it shouldn’t be right to hurt any living things. Do you think that if you disrespect animals they will respect you more? If you mistreat animals they will mistreat you which might make you want to hurt them more. If you wouldn’t eat a dog, why eat a pig? They both can feel pain and they both have feelings. It is prejudice based on species that allows us to think of one animal as a pet and the other as dinner. I think killing animals to eat is still abuse because they are still getting hurt. Animals were not created to wear, eat, experiment on, abuse, or use for entertainment. So why do we do it? This shows that people who abuse animal are not fit to have pets and that all animals should be treated the same. Also that no animals should be used for human needs. |
